The Spülboy Neptune T2000 is a manual glass washer with two basins and a white plastic housing. It works without electricity or a permanent water connection: you fill the basins yourself and rinse with the brush in the center. Intended for mobile bars, festival tents, and clubs.
Rinsing without a connection
At locations without a power outlet or drain, an electric washer is not an option, even though you still need clean glasses. The Neptune works purely mechanically: press the glass over the brush, rotate it, and rinse it in the second basin afterward. Because washing and rinsing remain separate, the rinse water lasts longer than with a single basin. This is especially noticeable with beer, where greasy residue would otherwise quickly spread through the water. Use glass crates to transport rinsed glassware.
Use and maintenance
Place the washer on a level surface and keep a bucket of clean water within reach so you can change the water quickly. Change the wash water as soon as foam remains on the surface; that is when you are circulating more dirt than you are removing. After use, empty both basins, rinse the brush, and leave everything open to dry to prevent odors. Check the bristles at the start of each season.
