Captain Morgan
The spiced rum with the captain on the bottle. Everything about the flavor, the difference between Spiced Gold and Black Spiced, Captain Morgan cola and the glass it belongs in.

Rum with spices, named after a pirate
Captain Morgan is a spiced rum brand named after Sir Henry Morgan, the Welsh privateer who terrorized the Caribbean in the seventeenth century and later became governor of Jamaica. The brand was founded by Seagram in 1944 and is now part of Diageo. The best-known bottle, Spiced Gold, is Caribbean rum aged in oak for at least a year and then flavored with vanilla, cinnamon, clove and caramel.
At 35% ABV, Spiced Gold is milder than regular rum, and its sweet spices make it ideal for mixing. Captain Morgan with cola is one of the most frequently ordered long drinks in Dutch bars. Alongside Spiced Gold, there is a bolder Black Spiced (40%), an unspiced Dark Rum and White Rum, and fruity variants such as Tiki and Sliced Apple.

Captain Morgan White Rum
Light, fresh white rum, aged for more than a year. The basis for Mojito, Daiquiri and Piña Colada.

Captain Morgan Tiki
Tropical variant with pineapple and mango. Sweet and fruity, with soda or juice in a tiki glass.
