The series runs from 16 to 32 cl and covers two uses. The 16, 20 and 25 cl tumblers are your water, soft drinks and juice. The 16 cl is small enough to serve as a breakfast juice glass; the 25 cl is the size that passes for an ordinary water glass on most tables. The 27 and 32 cl long drink glasses are taller and narrower, meant for drinks over ice. Choose the 32 cl if you work with plenty of ice cubes, otherwise you are left with too little room for the tonic or the cola. Everything is supplied in sixes.

Fill a long drink glass right up with ice first, only then pour the spirit, and add the tonic along the side of the glass so the fizz stays in. A Cuba Libre or a gin and tonic is at its best in the 32 cl. Use the tumblers without ice for water at the table and with two cubes for juice or iced tea. Stir with a long stirrer rather than a fork, and you avoid scratches on the base.

Tempered glass copes with rapid temperature changes better than ordinary soda-lime glass and keeps its rim intact for longer, which is exactly why the hospitality trade works with it. All five models are dishwasher safe. Don't wedge them against each other in the rack, because most damage happens while loading rather than during the wash itself. A dull haze is almost always limescale, not wear.
