This tiki highball glass has a capacity of 45 cl and a gold finish on the outside. Its shape is that of a standard highball glass, making it suitable not only for tiki cocktails but also for gin and tonics and highballs. Designed for bars that want to stand out with their glassware without using a novelty-shaped cup.
What the glass is suitable for
Forty-five centiliters in a highball shape is ideal for drinks built over ice cubes: a Dark ’n’ Stormy, a Mai Tai on the rocks, or a gin and tonic. It also works for drinks with crushed ice, although novelty-shaped cups offer more volume for those. The gold finish looks best with clear drinks and a clean garnish; too much fruit on the rim can distract from it. If you would prefer the same glass in a warmer color, the copper version from the tiki glasses collection is the alternative.
Caring for the finish
The gold layer is on the outside and requires hand washing: hot dishwasher cycles and harsh cleaning products will eventually dull the color. Wash with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, then dry immediately to keep the shine even. Do not use a scouring pad or wire brush.
