Schott Zwiesel komt uit Zwiesel, een stadje in het Beierse Woud in Duitsland waar al sinds de negentiende eeuw glas wordt geblazen. Het merk is bekend van Tritan, kristalglas waarin de gebruikelijke zachtmakers zijn vervangen door titanium en zirkonium.
