Eva Solo
Eva Solo is een Deens familiebedrijf dat net buiten Kopenhagen zit en al ruim honderd jaar bestaat; de vierde generatie staat er nu aan het roer. Het huis werkt volgens een eigen regel die het Yes, but noemt, ontstaan bij een meelstrooier uit 1949 die ook citrus kon persen: vorm en functie horen in één voorwerp samen te komen.
Dat zie je in het glaswerk aan de rustige vormen en de dunne wand. Een deel is met de hand geblazen, waardoor elk exemplaar iets van zichzelf houdt, en de tumblers en waterglazen zijn licht in de hand en bedoeld voor elke dag. Een schuine rand geeft ze hun eigen lijn. Samen vormen ze de volledige Eva Solo collectie.
