Choose based on the wine you serve most often. The 84 cl Burgundy glass has the largest bowl and is intended for pinot noir and nebbiolo, wines that need plenty of air before releasing their aromas. The 46 cl Burgundy glass has the same shape in a more manageable size and fits better in a regular cupboard. For Bordeaux, syrah, and other full-bodied red wines the 77 cl bowl is the right choice, with a taller, narrower shape. The champagne glass of 22 cl is a classic flute with a nucleation point, narrow enough to keep the bubbles for longer. For those who want to set a table in one go, there is a set of eighteen.

Always hold a Diva by the stem, not the bowl, because the warmth of your hand raises the wine’s temperature faster than you think. Pour to just below the widest point and gently swirl the glass so the wine can breathe. Pour a young, closed bottle through the decanting funnel first. The 22 cl flute is suitable for sparkling wine and for a kir royal or champagne cocktail, with the sugar or liqueur added to the bottom.

Diva is made from Tritan crystal glass, the lead-free glass from Schott Zwiesel with titanium and zirconium. Despite the slender stem, these glasses are dishwasher safe, as long as they stand clear of one another in the rack. Avoid an aggressive rinse cycle and let the bowls dry upright. When drying by hand, never twist the bowl while holding the foot, because that is where the stem snaps.
