The choice is mainly about the rim. The versions with a gold rim are intended for table settings and come in sets of four; the clear versions are also available in sets of twelve, making them more practical when equipping an entire bar or terrace. Functionally, they are identical.

The layout is clear at a glance. The 21 cl tumbler is a water glass, while the 35.5 cl one is a whisky tumbler or a cocktail glass for drinks served over ice. First fill a gin and tonic glass completely with ice, and only then pour. A lot of ice melts more slowly than a little ice, so the tonic stays fizzy for longer. For the 35.5 cl tumbler, a single large cube works best because it releases the least meltwater.

The 22 cl martini glass needs to be chilled beforehand, for example for an espresso martini. The 26 cl coupe is wide and shallow, making it suitable for an aperol spritz with lots of ice.

Crystalline glass is dishwasher-safe, but the relief holds water in its grooves. So place the glasses at an angle in the basket and dry them afterwards with a lint-free cloth, otherwise the drops leave marks in the pattern.

The gold rim is an applied layer and wants washing by hand in lukewarm suds. Aggressive detergents and high temperatures take the shine off, and that cannot be brought back.
