What does a pulled stem mean on a wine glass?
With a pulled stem, bowl and stem are formed from a single piece, without a seam or joint at the transition. That makes the glass lighter and visually calmer than a model where the stem is attached to the bowl separately.
Can Quatrophil glasses go in the dishwasher?
Yes, on a short glass programme. The wall is thin, so the risk is not in the water but in contact: make sure the bowls and stems never touch in the basket, because on thin crystal a knock shows straight away.
Which Quatrophil size will you reach for most often?
The 57 cl. It is the all-rounder in which both a full-bodied white and a light red work, so if you only want to buy one shape, this is the most useful of the three wine glasses in the range.
What is the difference between Quatrophil and Starlight?
Quatrophil is the finer range, with a thinly pulled bowl and a seamless transition into the stem. Starlight is built more robustly and has a wider range of sizes, up to 82 cl, so you can vary more on the table.
